Course Contents

1. The analysis of the importance of strategic planning in the health sector

2. The description of the external and internal environment of a healthcare facility

3. The deepening of the concept of management and of its operation description

4. An understanding of the main features of scientific schools of management and leadership theories

5. The recording of an effective model of human resources management in a Health Service

6. The analysis of how to attract young workers stay at work and evaluation of their performance.

7. Knowledge of the basic theories of motivation and importance of group dynamics and conflict management

8. Knowledge and application of theories and import process changes and innovation

Learning Outcomes of the course unit

By the end of the course, the students should be able to:

• Have developed their knowledge about the administration of health services and human resource management in order to be able to evaluate specific choices from a broader political, economic and social environment.

• Understand the complexity and the basic principles of a Health Service Administration.

• Distinguish the key design criteria, organization, management and leadership for successful management of health services

• Understand and analyze the importance of marketing in management of these services

• Identify and reach critical changes facing the health sector

• Seek ways of dealing with resistance to these changes.

• Develop knowledge and skills in the management of innovation

Διαδικασία Εγγραφής

Α) Κριτήρια Εισδοχής Απαιτούμενα δικαιολογητικά:

• Επίσημα επικυρωμένα πιστοποιητικά ακαδημαϊκών προσόντων (πτυχίο ΤΕΙ/ΑΕΙ ή πανεπιστημιακός τίτλος εξωτερικού αναγνωρισμένος από ΔΟΑΤΑΠ, με αναλυτική βαθμολογία).

• Επικυρωμένο Απολυτήριο Λυκείου.

• Επικυρωμένο Αντίγραφο Ταυτότητας.

• Δύο (2) φωτογραφίες ταυτότητας.

• Αποδεικτικά στοιχεία γνώσης της Αγγλικής γλώσσας (αν απαιτείται).

• Μία (1) συστατική επιστολή (Πρότυπο)

• Έκθεση ερευνητικών ενδιαφερόντων (Οδηγίες)

• Αίτηση

Β) Προεγγραφή

• Ο/Η ενδιαφερόμενος συμπληρώνει την αίτηση και επισυνάπτει τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά και τα αποστέλλει στο πιστοποιημένο συνεργαζόμενο κέντρο «Εξέλιξη»

• Το κέντρο «Εξέλιξη» αναλαμβάνει την διαδικασία προεγγραφής του ενδιαφερόμενου με τον έλεγχο και την αποστολή των δικαιολογητικών στο Πανεπιστήμιο.

• Το πανεπιστήμιο αξιολογεί την αίτηση και αποστέλλει αποδοχή ή μη της αίτησης εγγραφής.

Γ) Εγγραφή

Σε περίπτωση που το πανεπιστήμιο αποδεχτεί το φοιτητή αυτός καλείται να πραγματοποιήσει την κατάθεση της 1^ης δόσης (Προκαταβολή) των διδάκτρων. Ακολούθως στο φοιτητή αποστέλλονται όλα τα σχετικά στοιχεία και πληροφορίες για να ξεκινήσει η φοίτηση.
